These bottle caps were hurled rapid-fire at a leaning tower of jugs in my kitchen. I recorded this using an akg condenser mic, and an m-box interface. These sounds were effected in protools with flanger, delay, and reverb.

A recording of a noise of a polish train running, slowing down with the specific metalic sqeaky sound, stopping, accelarating and then running slowly. At the end of the clip there is a motorcycle passing by no the road parallel to the train tracks. Recording was made using zoom h4n on 48khz and 24bit settings.

The snailhorn is a wind instrument. (skrt. Skankha, tib. Dung kar, jap. 陣貝, jinkai, 法螺貝, horagai)it is from the shell of a snail manufactured, the tip is detached. Often the snail shell by engraving or ornamented metal versions. Sometimes it is also a mouthpiece of metal used. With hindsight bubbles - similar to a horn or a trumpet - creates a distinctive, penetrating tone. The snail horn is used in different cultures and different symbolic meanings. Inside a five-story stairwell in a large masonry building, a squeaky wooden door on a metal frame being opened and then closing on a floor above the recorder.

Noodling on a conn tenor saxophone with a brilhart 6 metal mouthpiece and fibracell 3 reed. Recorded with ardour using a mxl 2001 microphone and no processing or edits.

A large scoop pounding away at a concrete bridge to demolish it. Sounds of metal and concrete banging repetitively. Background is an idling utility service truck.

Skewer slam is a combination of my knife sharpening sounds and metallic impacts/wobblers (some not yet uploaded here!) to create a sesnsation of something big, intense and lethal coming towards whoever it either find offensive or is ambulatory. As a personal note; the distortion you hear is not because of clipping in the initial recording but because of the higher acoutistic resonance and limiters applied which will not sound like this when downloaded.

While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up. Hammer hitting a nail: in this sound you hear a metal hammer hitting a metal nail into a slab of wood, creating a harsh sounding sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. A high shelf and a band was added to the sound to make the hammer hitting the nail more clear. The hammer used was 2kg hammer and the nail was 5 cm long nail and the wood was a piece of eucalyptus tree wood.

Watchtower in overloon (small dutch village) is made completely of steel. The sound comes from walking down the stairs inside. Recorded with a smartphone, wich gives it an even more spooky effect.
